The exciting one-hour preview program includes famous arias and duets from Puccini's masterpiece Manon Lescaut. Maestro Dodson and Dorota Sobieska will provide short descriptions to the selections, introducing all to the story and climate of the upcoming opera Manon Lescaut on November 22 & 24, 2019. Featuring soloists of The Cleveland Opera: Dorota Sobieska, soprano, Manon; Mikhail Urusov, tenor, Des Grieux; Jeremy Gilpatric, baritone, Lescaut (concert). Presented in collaboration with the Cleveland Women's Orchestra under the baton of Maestro John Thomas Dodson.
Plentiful buffet-style Mediterranean reception will follow, including delicious hummus, baba gannouj, tabouli, loubie bzeit, falafel; with tea/coffee, water and pastries. Reception included in the ticket price.
