The concert opens with the toast -- Brindisi -- from Verdi's La traviata, followed by the most famous arias and duets of Violetta, Alfredo, and his father Giorgio Germont.
Other beloved duets include that of Nedda & Silvio from I pagliacci by Leoncavallo; the Mimi-Rodolfo duet from Act 1 of La bohème by Puccini; and the duet from The Pearl Fishers by Bizet.
Lighter repertoire for this program will include selections from contemporary American musicals sung in English.
